Chairman’s Message

The office of Lokayukta in the state is assigned with the responsible task to identify and eradicate corruption of any form in the state government organizations.

The Meghalaya Lokayukta Act provides for the establishment of a body of Lokayukta for the State of Meghalaya to enquire into allegations of corruption against certain public functionaries and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
